    Syllabus

    Description

    The Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) training is a program designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary for individuals responsible for the security of port facilities. This training is crucial to ensure that port facilities comply with international standards and can effectively manage security risks. 

    The Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) training is conducted based on Government Regulation No. 31 of 2021, Article 189. ​

    Object

    After participating in this training, participants are expected to be able to:

    • Participants can comprehensively explain the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS Code), including its objectives, principles, and key elements contained within it, as well as develop and implement an effective security plan.
    • Participants are capable of conducting a Port Facility Security Assessment (PFSA) to identify and analyze risks and threats that may be faced by port facilities.
    • Participants can prepare, implement, and maintain a Port Facility Security Plan (PFSP) that complies with ISPS standards and the specific needs of the port facility.
    • Participants possess the skills to plan and conduct drills and emergency response simulations, and can respond to security situations quickly and effectively.
